Lekker spul! Pikzwart met mooi stevig schuim. Rozijntjes, (door bourbon?) geroosterde mout, niet overdreven esdoornsiroop, vanille, vrij subtiel bourbon, zoethout. Niet té zoet, gemiddeld bittertje. Medium tot dikke body. Erg smakelijk.

Founder’s continues to set the bar for what really good beers taste like. Not only does this beer live up to its descriptors, but is a solid beer. Lacking the bite of some Porters, it makes for a complex, full-mouth feel. What would coconut taste like?

使われているメープルシロップとバニラの量がかなり濃ゆい。同時にbitterでもある。バーボン樽の影響で胸がカッと熱くなる。Founders BrewingのBarrel Agedシリーズのボトルを買って飲む。久々に自分のクラフトビール生活の原点に帰ったかのような夜だ。

Notes of Vanilla and Maple on the Nose. A nicely complex Porter with Vanilla and Maple with a slight Boozy Finish. I like it and having finished a 4-Pack of this over time I like and hope to find again.
