Really nicely done porter. Not too thin, not too thick and heavy, a touch sweet, a bit of anise/chocolate/vanilla, and not too heavy on the coffee. Tons of flavor for 9.2%.

Excellent porter! Bourbon barrel and maple syrup flavors come through quite well. Nose is a little reminiscent of the Mackinac.

Very very smooth. Boozy sweet smell, nice vanilla finish. Very enjoyable, another great one from Founders.

Seems good things come in small packages or should I say bottles. This had the bourbon barrel up front ending with a balance of vanilla and maple syrup on the finish. Very tasty considering vanilla extract was used. Easy drinker too.

This is almost as good as it gets.. Everything works in harmony.. An almost perfectly crafted beer.. Get this beer if you can, it's that good

Light bourbon and vanilla aroma. Dark crystal and black malts with balanced bourbon, vanilla, and just a touch of maple. Body is medium with a sweet start and dry finish. Some booziness, but clean. And 100% delicious! ๐บ๐ป๐บ

Definitely get some boozy flavor. Light notes of vanilla. Nothing to differentiate the boozy from the maple with the sweetness.

Vanilla more on the the back end. Very boozy but yet smooth and enjoyable. Canโt tell where boozy stops and maple begins.

Smooth and creamy. Maple gets taken over by the vanilla, and the barrel flavor is almost non existent. Guess that better that the sharp artificial barrel flavor that has plagued their beers for the last several years.

My sis made me try it. The nose is classic fbs, kbs, cbs. Roasted bitterness. The flavor is not. Immediate sweet bourbon, maple & vanilla. Infused? All good. The expected bitterness & acidity of the porter is masked. Enjoyable. 4.22 #FUCV
