Malty, roasted coffee on the nose.Mouthfeel leans a little thin.Maple and barrel is subtle on the palate.Can definitely pick up on the vanilla.Mostly getting a roasted malty note and vanilla with a slightly bitter aftertaste.Not bad for a Porter.

Just like any other recent Founders beer......not what it once was, and falls short of expectations.

Night cap. Wish it was something better, but at least it’s strong. Not feeling the use of vanilla extract. Seems like a cheap out. At least the maple is really subtle.

Would have loved to try back when it was BLIS barrels and vanilla beans

Smell of vanilla and caramel and a bit of cookies, a very rich taste of concentrated malt, a bit of roasty nuances but definitely vanilla and maple forward.

Good but feels acidic after the first drink. Sweet and boozy.

Surprisingly good. Thought it was going to be overwhelmingly bourbon barrelly but it's a really good mellow. Almost tastes of plum.

Not usually a big porter drinker but this one got the better of my curiosity. Lots of vanilla, roasted notes, very faint on the bourbon

Perhaps a bit too sweet but didn't feel like an ipa. Lots of vanilla and maple.

Coffee flavor on the tongue, with hints of bourbon and vanilla maple finish. This one’s pretty dark, went well with desert red velvet muffin.

A smooth and strong beer. Definitely for sipping and savoring every bit of the flavor complexity.
