Smooth and robust. Loved the sweet dark flavor. So rich and thick but not chocolatey.

Well balanced, a little sweet as I’m definitely tasting the vanilla & maple. Bourbon is very subtle. Good beer.

I usually am turned off by maple but it wasn’t overly sweet! Not sure why but this would be a good Halloween beer.

Nice vanilla and maple accents but not too sweet. Good flavor without a lactose crutch. Well done.

Took almost two months to get through a 4-pack. Well balanced - not too sweet, barrel doesn't overpower, good roast, slightly prickly - but it fails to excite. Once warmed the individual flavors are easy to pick out and enjoy. 4-4.25

This is what Founders does best. Sweet vanilla and maple, the toasty barrel flavor - so good.
