It’s hard to beat this Scotch Ale, it has all the usual characteristics, malty, sweet, caramelly. The only one better other than barrel aged ones is Warped Speed. ABV is 8.5%.

Ruikt zoet moutig, donker fruitig. Zacht mondgevoel. Smaak ook zacht vol zoet, licht bittertje. Bottled 18/01/21

It's what Jim's had that wasn't too far past ideal consuming range after production. Great reward after a white-knuckle/4-wheel trip out to the Keweenaw Rocket Range, ~9 miles beyond the beginning of US 41!

Good vintage. Sounded like a nice pairing with a brat patty, and it is. Who knew they had different years on Untappd for this?

A lot going on as usual with a good scotch ale. It’s hoppy and malty. Sweet, oaky, earthy finish to it. Hints of caramel as well. Fresh it’s ok but id like to try this aged for maybe a year. I bet it would smooth out pretty good

When you find a mac&cheese recipe that calls for a scotch ale.......you get the best! Cause the recipe only calls for a cup, so one has to drink the rest!
