Just realized this is a 2018 bottle. Thanks for aging it for me TW! I should have expected it to be more barley wine than tipa. What I didn't expect was how the fruitier hops played with the malt. Too sweet for me but still a solid brew

I read that the rum taste in these gets less intense over time, so I figured I'd finally buy the last bottle that has sat at a local distributor for almost four years. It's not bad.

Yeah, this is an ale and the barrel ageing didn’t change that. It’s boozy and full-bodied, not sure if this started to go bad in the basement... nice label, tho.

Medium krop og lille krone med virkelig potent spritet aroma smagen er faktisk markant lettere end arosmen og sødmen fra rommen redder godt balancen mellem sprit, maltet dybde. Klassisk ale malt kombi og fint afrundet

Pours cloudy yellow. Plenty of head that disappeared slowly. Less hoppy than expected. Taste of pineapple. With right amount of rum. Not an ipa guy but would buy again.
