Boozy, caramel, not overly sweet. Another great bourbon barrel aged from Founders.

Last had the 2017 vintage of this ale quite sometime ago and this one is just as tasty. Purchased from Raise the Bar,Chapel en le Frith, Derbyshire.

Mythic arboreal depth to this rich caramel malt Scotch Wee Heavy. Sticky stained aged oak barrel staves, wisp of smoke, brandied fruits… big flavor medley, soft mellow delivery. New angles to consider with each sip. Cheers!

Always surprised how freaking good this beer is. Give me it over KBS any day. Smooth bourbon. Oakey. Vanilla/caramel sweetness.
