Or, your own end to justify, For having purposed change and falsehood, you Can have no way but falsehood to be true? Vain lunatic, against these ‘scapes I could Dispute and conquer, if I would, Which I abstain to do

The oaky bourbon aroma is there from the start. The sweet caramel mixes with a malty scotch flavor. The 11% is hidden nicely. This is a solid mainstay in the Founders Barrel Aged Series. Cheers!

Always a good choice. Malty boozy oaky. Bottled 12-10-21. Been sitting in the fridge for a good while.

Lekkere ale die is gerijpt op eiken bourbon vaten. Je proeft een lichte houtsmaak en een ook iets smokeys... Door de bourbon een lekkere nasmaak!

Again, never forget those beers that come out every yr. now from a bigger craft Brewery that was small in the day & use to be hard to get. This brew still kicks ass 10 yrs after discovering it. The subtle Wee Heavy aged in BBL’s w/ all the correct notes!

Didn't know what to expect before opening, and halfway through I don't know what to think. Thin, barrel and tobacco, but no caramel or fruit or booze ect. Cheers, Doug V.

Founders rarely disappoints, which is remarkable for a brewery with wide distribution. This one is no exception.

Super boozy. I thought time would have mellowed it out some, but it seems to have gone the other way - drinks like a sticky thick shot.
