Raisin nose. Tea and tobacco body. Oaky finish. Not awful but I have had way better barley wines

It smells like mixed berries. I'm waiting for it to warm up to try to get more flavor out of it but there isn't as much as I would have hoped. It tastes more like a stout but with some barleywine flavor.

I remembered loving the 2010 version, so was happy see this brewed again. Hoppy, roasty, bitter, dry finish. Bold flavors yet balanced, and nice smooth feel.

Maybe not the best choice on a blistering hot day, but this is tasty.

I have had it with this week and I am day drinking. So I accidentally grab an 11.2% barley wine...whoops...well if you are going to do it you do it right. It’s dark and roasty and tastes like a combo Porter/Barleywine

I found it! Nice treat after golf and before perch tonight! It’s Happy Hour just what the doctor ordered! 11.2% ABV and 75 IBU’s. Roasted malt flavor with a slight bitter aftertaste.

I like the darkness of this beer, it's just a little bitter for me. A fun pick, though!

Roasty, malty, hoppy, piney. Bitter finish. Not very sweet. Bold and delicious! Note- the year 2021 is on the other side of the bottle hence legit 🍺🔥🤠👍

For a Founders Barleywine it’s pretty disappointing. Almost like a slightly less hoppy Arrogant Bastard.

Surprisingly good. I would say it's the roasty version of Bigfoot Barleywine.
