Bottled 3/8/21. Well well a bottle of Founders Nemesis has found it’s way into my lair. I’ve heard it described as a black barleywine, but in my estimation it’s an ol’ school American Barleywine. Pours a half finger fluff with great retention. Gimme more!

Solid barley wine. Super tasty and warm. Higher rating because it's no longer available

More my style. A dark and warm ale, bitter with coffee notes.

#BiL. Holding up nicely. Would like to compare to TCOA if same vintage.

Torkade frukter, bourbon, muscovadosocker. Maltig och riktigt skön Barley som fått stå något år och gottat till sig.

2 years has maybe made this one better. Some of the boozy edges are rounded off, and the slight oxidation really adds character. Soapy bitterness does battle with sweetness, with no clear winner. Hey Founders, please consider revisiting this one.

Aging for a bit. Bitter like a Baltic porter, digging it
