This is nice. A bitter Barleywine at 75 IBUs, but expertly softened by that massive malt bill. This is a genuine delight. For the love of all things good, let this warm up as you sit with it! The flavor changes dramatically, and it's quite a trip. Cheers.

More of a hoppy style porter than Barleywine but still pretty decent

Not a fan of the generic labels, but really like the idea of this series. A malt bomb loaded with fruit that actually packs a hoppy punch. 11.2% ABV. 🍺

Really surprised at the balance. Lots of sweet aroma, caramel malt when first sipped, then the hops really present themselves in the finish.

Opaque dark brown color, foamy khaki head and lacing, caramel malt, dark fruit, and piney hops aroma and taste, sweet raisin notes, earthy-resinous hops finish.

Hoppier than I generally like my barleywines to be, but I'll try one later with a shot of amaretto to sweeten and warm it.

Piney, hoppy, bubblegum fruitiness & caramel on the nose. Silky-smooth body w/ tongue-prickling carbonation. Palate starts w/ sweet caramel malts, transitioning to date, fig & dark sugars. Finish is clean & piney, cutting through the sweetness. Sneaky ABV
