Oh so delicious, Idk why I get a little smoke but I like that

This would be even better with some aging.

Circa 1997. Hop forward - perfumery pine sap; intense malt character - caramel/molasses; a delight.

Oh so smoky, roasty hoppy and boozy. I would like to drink 3 more of these but I prefer to be conscious. So damn good

Liquid bitter wood. But only it tastes good. This is way less sweet than most barley wines and that’s ok.

I'm biased towards barleywine, but this one really is exceptional.

Not your typical Barleywine… not bad, roasty and smooth

I think this is my first barleywine but definitely won't be my last. Sweet but well balanced

Sweet up front but balanced by bitterness in the finish. Arguably a non-typical barleywine but that’s fine by me.

A little harsh in the woody notes. Maybe it will mellow with time.

Bright and fruity. It’s cold and actually really nice to drink in 90*!

Sunny holiday Monday’s for the win. This is a rather big barleywine style. Roasted flavors and hops abound.

This does not taste like a barely wine. I see the complaints with this one. Glad I only got one bottle.
