This isn't a barleywine... Idk if the bottle is bad but this is watery and soapy and i guess there is some malt. All in all I'm sad. It doesn't even smell like a barleywine

The Malört of beers. Outrageously hoppy and audaciously herbaceous. A bizarre concoction.

I enjoy a dark hoppy beer, bit this comes across as medicinal. Tolerable, but it would be a lot nicer (maybe 4 stars) with other hops.

Big bitter flavor with a mix of floral hoppy flavor and bitter chocolate. Finishes with roasty malt and a kick of alcohol.

This is my second time trying this beer. Don’t care for it. Initial taste is a Barleywine/IPA. It leaves an bad aftertaste immediately.

This little effer. I swear to all that is holy and your cousin I will kick it’s ass if I ever see it round my backdoor. Hoppy, pugnacious and bold, you either love him or pay someone to kill him.

Smells terrific. Taste? This is my least favorite Founders offering of all time. Tastes like burning.

Tried both cold and room temp. Barley, some hops, boozy, mostly a strong barley wine taste. Barrel aged strength. Very strong. Not a fan.

Perhaps the first "miss" I've had from Founders. It's just so weird. It's roasty and the hops are really strong. It's just so much if everything it feels like your taste buds are being assaulted.

Geur is zeer moutig. Smaak is droog en bitter als in een goedkope dipa of dry hopped. Minder barleywine. Daarom lagere score
