Utopias Barrel-Aged 120 Minute IPA Le Boss

No IPA notes left. What we've got here is a boozy, raisin-y strong ale reminiscent of the early aughts. The Utopias barrel is indiscernible. Great drinkability saves the day.

Not sure if 2016 or 2017 vintage, but a beautiful brew nonetheless. Plenty of barrel and vanilla, syrupy-thick body. Ages well indeed.

Orangina + Cantillon = Parasol. Heavy on the citrus. Fresh, easy and forgettable like a summer fling

Berry galore, fresh flowers, happy cavorting in the Belgian countryside. Exhilarating.

Lovely raspberry, late-summer fruit, table wine. Perfect tartness. Rustic and delightful.

Nath (2021) Le Boss

Pronounced tartness, fermented flavors, dry finish. Earthy and funky. Tad of white wine vinegar. Easy drinking

Big Worster Le Boss

This might be 6-7 years old... overtly sweet and syrupy, bordering gross territory. I don't think age did any good to this brew

Artificial-tasting maple and vanilla + barely any barrel flavor + thin porter base

The Malört of beers. Outrageously hoppy and audaciously herbaceous. A bizarre concoction.

First had this in March and it was wonderful. Sharp barrel+ booze + chocolate. 9 months later: a watered-down brew that hasn't aged well.

No maple, not a ton of fudge/chocolate either- but the coffee is tremendous. Very good, surprisingly

Kriek Mariage Parfait (2011) Le Boss

Rather delicious, still some good cherry after almost 10 years. But too gentle/understated compared to Mariage Gueuze. Miss that funk

Lou Pepe Kriek (2011) Le Boss

Stunning as expected. Deep ruby red color, funky-grainy nose and delightfully tart, earthy cherry flavor. I surrender 🙏 thank you JG!
