Opaque dark brown color, foamy khaki head and lacing, caramel malt, dark fruit, and piney hops aroma and taste, sweet raisin notes, earthy-resinous hops finish.

“Pours a slight Mahogany”. Looks more like a stout without the body. Definitely the sweetness of a barleywine though.

Really surprised at the balance. Lots of sweet aroma, caramel malt when first sipped, then the hops really present themselves in the finish.

Phenomenal! The label is cheap. But the beer is super balanced.

Smells awesome. Tastes....harsh bitter hoppines with strong bitter hop aftertaste. No thank you.

Not a fan of the generic labels, but really like the idea of this series. A malt bomb loaded with fruit that actually packs a hoppy punch. 11.2% ABV. 🍺

More of a hoppy style porter than Barleywine but still pretty decent

Pretty bitter for a barleywine. Smooth carbonation, lacey head.

Seems to me - the barleywine is lost. More of a cross of scotch ale/wee heavy/ Imp IPA. (Ibu @ 75).Different/unusual/novelty-drink 2 you’ll be on your a** not sure of a rebuy...but I can respect this one.

Full and heavy doesn’t match the flavor. Would rather a lighter hopped malty ale

I love Barley wine but this seems like it’s missing something .

Pours a mahogany color. Smells of dark caramel malts and roasted malts. Lingering bitterness.

Caramel, malty, dark... but too hoppy for me. Wish it had a lot more brown sugar or caramel, or maybe a maple barrel aged version.
