Very hoppy, pretty bitter taste that overpowers the malts. More IPA than ale for me.

An edge of unique bitterness to it that thankfully overrides the cloyingly sweet gagginess which ruins most barleywines for me!

Excellent. Roasted and earthy. Great flavor. Perfect fall time ale. I hope this becomes mainstream because I think I found a new favorite.

It's been way too long my Nemesis. Founders didn't elaborate on the roasted malts used but one of them is Weyermann Chocolate Rye which adds the roasty bite. Beer so good that even the brass birds want some. Here's to retribution & vengeance. Cheers! 🍻🦩

Way out of style with the roasted malts but still delish. A power house. Nice for a rainy chily day in T town.

Bitter hoppy and not too sweet. Little more flavor as it warms. Not too boozy. Prefer an English barley wine that’s sweeter.

A lot of bitter hop even for an American barleywine. A hint of stout roast as well.

My first time trying this and it was really good. Not really a fan of barley wine beer but this is better than most make it out to be.

An 11.2% barleywine-style ale. Did not know what to expect having never had one. Pours dark brown-redish. Sweet roasted malt, robust, a little bitter, a good sipping beer.
