G; roast, laurier, vegetaal, boozy, karamel. M; zoetig, drop, chocola, karamel, droog, én mooi hoppig. N; bitter, trekkend, roasty, droog. Yesh!

Couple of years have elevated this. More smooth and chocolatey. This feels more like an Imperial Brown than a BW.

Aging seems to have really helped this one. Malt backbone with a nice hop bite.

Bitter! Tanniner & lite gift. Bakom beskan döljs en trevlig kopp som inte kommer fram förrän temperaturen går upp över ”källarkall”. Då kommer en smaker av melass & läder fram som tar udden av beskan & ger balans.

Wanted to try this for awhile, but it’s like a cross between Bigfoot and 120 min. Too much American bwizzle. Needs some barrel and some Werther’s 🤷

What happen here , Barleywines are always high with me but this one was getting close to a drain pour , a 2021 maybe the one I bought was a bad egg 🍻🍻I’ll look for another just to make sure
