Less bitter than some of the other barleywines I've had.

Super dry. No flavor aside from extremely bitter hops. Founders is hit or miss for me... this is a big miss.

This is really nice. Sweet dark fruity esters, boozy and then caramel to toffee goodness.

Pleasantly surprised by this one. Hoppy with heavy malt backbones. Didn't get too much booze. Going to age a few.

Great taste. Wasn’t expecting the nuttiness or smokiness, but still great experience!

Mix and match night at my house... I think I would have liked this one better if I hadn’t paired it with works pizza topped red pepper flakes. It just doesn’t like the heat.

When pouring the slightly reddish hue is noticeable. Very dark in the glass. Strong, hoppy, malty, bittersweet. An excellent Barleywine.

Love how much is going on with this beer. Big and brash, a sipper and a palate wrecker.

Flavors are all over the place in a good way. Straddles the dank, hoppy and malty profiles of a barleywine.
