Last of these bottles as well. Interesting take on the hoppy American barleywine. Definitely smoothed out over time considering this was bottled 03/09/21.

Big and bold with an unabashed level of bitterness! Dry. Booze is well hidden.

Post beer-session practice. This is developing nicely (3.9.21 bottling). Still quite bitter, so similar to Sierra Bigfoot.

Holy dark beer Batman!! Vanilla bourbon notes. Peppery. Sweet nose but not too sweet in the mouth feel. Very boozy. Get some.

Better than I expected, not too boozy just right with some surprisingly potent hops, nice little night cap, hoping the tigers can squeeze one out against the purple and black suck machine

This is actually a really well made barleywine. Unfortunately, Founder’s has been naughty again and my collection now feels like a small racist monument. I will spend today drinking away these confederate relics. Barleywine is for humanity.
