Mole !!! Wanted more chilli heat. Coffee and cocoa prominent.

Blueberry π«π«π« and coffee βββ is not really a duo I like in a beer. Conflicted. Just because you can doesn't mean you should.

Dry. Crisp. Piney. Co-founder of DFH. Thanks Mark for taking the time to chat.

Slightly vinous. 120 minute base shines through well. Cofounder of Dogfish Head and past head brewer. Thanks for taking the time to chat Mark π€π€π€

A ton of dark coffee akin to a pour over. Drier. Light maple πππ. Shade surfing under the oak tree. Corn hole and sipping go hand in hand πππ

Utopias Barrel-Aged 120 Minute IPA Doc
Everything it should be! Both beers are epic in their own right but the melding of hop density and barrel treatments is a sure fired winner. Soft for the heavy booze compliment. Caramel, heavy bread, and bitterness. πππ

Big and bold with an unabashed level of bitterness! Dry. Booze is well hidden.

Kriek 100% Lambic Bio (2023) Doc
Cherry. Sexy astringency on the finish. Damn...I am a spoiled boy today! One of my all time favorite beers. Thanks Terry and Emma for this lovely share.

Load of hazelnut and chocolate ganache flavors. Bourbon. Great body. All about balance here with no one ingredient overshadowing the rest. Tubber π¦π¦π¦

Cone resin bomb on a blistering malt bill. Bitter magicπ€π€π€

Big bold pineapple πππ aromas. Dry, resinous , orange filled middle. Ditch the powder. A fun day of dominos where I emerge victorious ππ₯π.

Pretty tasty! Orange π and cherry π rich and graced with a boozy, warm compliment of bourbon. Tastes sweeter but I'm sure this is just the 11% playing with taste perception. Pre supper sipper.

It's lovely...exactly as it's supposed to be. This has been cellared nicely. Tart, earthy, leather glove with a clear window on bitterness to brighten and round out the fruit. πππ. Crisp, champagne carbonation. Thx T and E for this lovely πππ.

KBS Maple Mackinac Fudge (2022) Doc
Maple fudge as described. No sticky artificial sugars. Meaty. Roast. Nice. Dry.

Gorgeous bright orange colour, more wheat haze instead of the white oat bombs which are, unfortunately so prevalent. Bold citrus . Crusher

Bakers dark chocolate, bourbon, a ton of hazelnut, no silly lactose assault. Oily. Really enjoyable.

French Toast Bastard (Barrel Aged Series 2022) Doc
God have mercy..it is what it promises to be! Tides of maple syrup, glance of cinnamon and vanilla. Diabetes in a glass. Barrel tannins are soft. Bruiser.

Caramel circus of rich malts, verging on buttery. Char, smoke and bourbon. Barrel tannins bloom late in the experience. This is always a treat and pairs perfectly with brother π's home made brandy soaked fruit cake π€π€π€

Mandarin Orange & Mango Crush Doc
Ripping tasty for natural fruit! Mandarine and mango is super crisp and fresh with no pulpy mash to strain through your teeth. Tubber π¦π¦π¦.

Definitely a wild ale funk nose here. Mineralic and citrus focused. Different and interesting. Soft spot for Dogfish πππ

Marmalade on fresh, dark bread. Been so long since I logged one in. Still a malt bomb with solid bitterness, citrus spreads and devoid of oats. Clear and piney. Pairs with Letter Kennyπ€π€π€

Raspberry bramble, herbaceous, bright, tart. Bit vinegar forward as opposed to funk. Solid tannic finish. May improve with age as it's still young. Tart but not yet complex.

Tequila is nice and heavy, agave is way overboard sweet. Good barrel level. Would have been in better balance without the heavy handed agave addition. Tub π¦π¦π¦ shareπππ

Been too long old friend! Gorgeous malts and floral, piney hopping that is just so incredibly well played off each other. This is my East Coast Plineyπππ. An all time favourite brewery and beer for me. #crushhazybeer

Gueuze 100% Lambic Bio (2022) Doc
Happy summer solsticeπππ. Tight raft of foam, such lovely carbonation. Peach flesh, stone fruit skins and stone fruit stone tannins. Bit short in it's delivery. Missing that lovely match stick reduction that I get in 3F. A treat.

Bourbon, second comes dark cocoa, follow through is the coffee. Not as sturdy as previous years but fresh as a daisyπππ

If this is a personal best I would be very afraid of the personal worst....brutal even for a non alcoholic beer. Malty and insipid.

KBS Cinnamon Vanilla Cocoa (2021) Doc
Everything about this beer is delicious. It's not overly confectioned and a pleasure to drink as a night cap π€π€π€π΄

Lovely cherry nose but a past due bottle. No acidity at all now so the fruit is essentially dead at this point. Drink fresh.

This is delicious π€ππΊ. Founders busts out the grain bill as always and dispenses with the use of powder opting instead for full hop complement. Thanks a bunch for this rare offering J and M.πππ

Big bold berry aromas and the middle is soft and creamy espresso. Boozy fringe, light tannins. Coffee cake residuals. A little session stout action to switch up the hitters.

KBS Maple Mackinac Fudge (2020) Doc
Heavy, dark cocoa laced with fudge and bourbon. Coffee balances the flavours without any sweet adjunct additions. Vanilla edge. Pairs with duvets and John Candy movies. Nightcap supreme βΊοΈβΊοΈβΊοΈ

Kiss of barrel but not a huge amount of bourbon. It does , however retain that lovely Founders dark chocolate middle and a vanilla pasty suggestion. At 9% this is insanely gulpable...and suddenly, my glass is empty. Excellent.

Grand Cru Bruocsella Lambic Bio (2015) Doc
One of my favorite Cantillons. Earthy, wet stone, lemon tartness, funk, wet saddle leather, straw. A 20 Beers for 20 Years cellar pull. Remembering our Belgium trip and time spent at this brewery. Memories are gorgeous thingsβ€οΈβ€οΈβ€οΈ

Malt circus and I love it! Delivers like a hopped up sherry at this ABV with malt bill notes approximating a dense rye bread taste. Brisk, prickling carbonation meets the tongue, with a sweet syrupy soft bitterness that rises and falls in waves. πππ
