Really enjoying the 11.2% & 75 IBU’s and roasted malts. After a winter of loving BBA stouts, this Barleywine is getting my attention! (Thanks to Brett for bringing it to my attention today!)

First full barleywine I’ve ever had. Pretty strong, but not bad!

A hoppy barleywine. Grainy, hoppy, ok.

Barleywine is definitely an acquired taste but at 11.2% you have to expect a punch. Get to da choppa!

That’s a sneaky abv! Not usually big on barleywine, but this has a nice hoppy/sweetness

Reminiscent of Bowser's Spring cleaning beer where they combined all their extra hops and malt.

A: slightly like wine with slight IPA mix T: like a thick, dark, intense stout at first, but instead of chocolate or coffee, it end on a slightly fruity ipa haze flavor. Seriously tastes like a thick stout. Definitely some malt liquor tastes aswell.

Pleasantly bitter. Not your traditional barleywine. The roasted barley is very prominent. Hints of charred molasses, black licorice, and a toasted hop presence that carries through. Resembles a strong black IPA.

Very interesting barleywine. Doesn’t have that typical barleywine taste, has more roasted grain and hop notes.

Not your typical sweet Barleywine. Hops are bold and make you think of something different.

Good malty backbone. Some nice roast going on. Flavors arrive after it sits a bit. 3.5 cold, 4.0 otherwise.

Nice malty, caramel and dark fruits flavors. Mildly sweet, and a nice mellow hop bitterness. Good one.
