Cracked open a cellared one for a treat. Still not too hot after 7 years. Still getting some original properties like chocolate and coffee along with the bourbon.

My second of these, the first when it was fresh. I think the barrel character has diminished a little, but otherwise, it's excellent.

Excellent. This beer doesn't have legs past 3 years. Best after just 6 months to a year. It's all chocolate now with a whiff of coffee somewhere in the distance.

17-2-14 vtg, ~3.5yr/o. Smooth, spicy dark chocolate. Cinnamon and nutmeg. Notes of vanilla, coffee. Warm molasses. Darn good. Continues to age very well.
