Stout - Imperial / Double Coffee

What we’ve got here is an imperial stout brewed with a massive amount of coffee and chocolates, then cave-aged in oak bourbon barrels for an entire year to make sure wonderful bourbon undertones come through in the finish. Makes your taste buds squeal with delight.

Two and a half years old now, the bourbon barrel ageing really comes to the fore now, in the aroma and more mellow in the finish. Still a coffee flavour but the chocolate has almost gone.

Kept trying to dust the keg, but it's still on. Drinking real good right now, sweet and not boozey at all. No friendsgiving this year but last night was as close to it as we were able to get. Thankful for friends, Obriens, and good company.
