Whoa. This has a bit of light rye spice up front with a growing flavor that I can only put as licorice. Black licorice. This is not jam on that fact alone. I just taste Jäger now. Oof.

A bit different (neither good/bad) from others. Seems a bit “thicker” if that’s a word to describe a beer???

Bold rye flavor, not syrupy or boozy and carries some malty flavor

There’s no mistaking this…big rye profile with and even bigger caraway finish. Feels a bit undercarbed.

Strong rye, especially a few days ago when I tried. Caraway seeds! It tasted like liquid rye bread, now the flavor has mellowed, and it seems very undercarbonated. Now there is more taste of licorice and root beer. Sweet medium roasted maltiness.

Clear amber brown color, foamy off-white collar, no lacing, fresh rye bread aroma and taste, caraway seed notes, clean, this should be served with a side of corned beef and sauerkraut.
