So far liking Backwoods better. Very good at 54, tastes like black strap molasses my dad used to enjoy. I'll try at different temps to see how it changes and if I should buy a case.

Creamy chocolate mouth with sweet dark malty tones. Fatty, creamy, bitter coffeeish mouth developing sweeter ripe red fruity tones before ending in a long bitter finish. Over the whole tasting palette smoky and peaty notes are present. Nice surprise

Another check-in to Dirty Bastard, one of the better Scotch Ales out there. High ABV at 8.5%!
