A little too sweet (and strong) to have before dinner. Would make an excellent after dinner drink.

Barrel-aged and it warms you as it goes down. Caramel and brown sugar. Smooth and not boozy for 11%. Another great beer from Founders. TYJB!

Brown color w/a big tan head. Big orange marmalade aroma w/a bit of brown sugar. Upon tasting it’s rich with nutty toasty brown malt, dk brown sugar, & a bit of vanilla. An orange bitters flavor tames the sweetness along with a bit of hop bitterness.

Without a doubt, it's an old fashioned barleywine/brown ale BBA hybrid. So good! Def serve it in a small glass to let it open up like you would whiskey. All they say in the description come through. A good beer!

Still haven’t had an old fashioned, but if it tastes anything like this I think I’ll like it. Boozy, strong and smooth. A good end of fall beer.

This is basically an old fashioned, I am told it is a beer but I dunno. Also it is super tasty.
