Bottle Shop Series Highball Drifter

Brown Ale - American

They don't make 'em like they used to... or do they? The bottle shop series is a tribute to the folks who supported ragtag brewer's across the country when craft beer was in its infancy. when beer enthusiasts sought out innovation through big flavor, in your face complexity and revered quality above all else. This series is for you: the distinguished beer connoisseur still seeking the revolution that energized the industry we know today -- that settles for nothing less then the very best!

Boozy but very flavorful, tastes just like an old fashioned!! Love that cherry and orange flavor towards the end!

This is delicious. The aromatics is JUST as described on the bottle, finishing off with the peel of an orange. The flavor is so much a delicious highball. NOMS!

A cross between a brown ale and bourbon-based cocktail, more leaning towards the latter. Super boozy, even their Underground Mountain Brown at nearly 12% ABV hid the alcohol better. Interesting to try, not sure I’d buy again.

Bottled 7/7/21. Thicker body, darker, slightly aromatic, strong, but ABV well hidden, a bit roasty, kinda' clean, very smooth, malty, a little bitter, chocolate & vanilla notes, a little fruity/cherry? Brown sugar sweetness, barrel-aged/bourbon/oakiness.

Huge caramel and vanilla flavors, extra boozy too. Easy high rating for the highball 📈 Thanks for sharing Tom M.

Bourbon, caramel, curacao, orange peel and spices. More cocktail than beer imo. A little too sweet.

Late night rocking in the music room w/ this amazingly sweet sipper. Truly hope the Bottle Shop series never ends.

Hint of oaky bourbon on the nose, faint cherry & vanilla. Fairly thick body, moderate carbonation. Lots of caramel on the finish, b/w vanilla & maraschino cherry. A true Old Fashioned in a beer. Delightful!

I know I just checked this in 17 days ago. But A) it’s still delicious and B) it highlights the writing on my new glass much better than my previous check in. Thanks again Nathan B. I’ll be up at five ready to hit the water in the morning 🎣Cheers 🍻

Perfect balance of bourbon. 🥃It doesnt overpower the taste. It has a nice more orange 🍊than cherry🍒 taste in the back. 11%abv Cheers!🤤🍺🤙

The orange peel offsets the bourbon flavor so it's a nice blend and beautiful
