Bottle Shop Series Highball Drifter

Brown Ale - American

They don't make 'em like they used to... or do they? The bottle shop series is a tribute to the folks who supported ragtag brewer's across the country when craft beer was in its infancy. when beer enthusiasts sought out innovation through big flavor, in your face complexity and revered quality above all else. This series is for you: the distinguished beer connoisseur still seeking the revolution that energized the industry we know today -- that settles for nothing less then the very best!

Coconut, non-coco nut, non-nut cocoa, orange peel, cherry. Not the worst old fashioned themed beer I’ve had tonight FWIW

A bit heavy on the cherry and orange, even for a highball. Really does taste more cocktail and beer, though. Bourbon notes are in the background with very little alcohol burn.

Podverdikkie da's me genieten! Heerlijl volronde bourbonsmaak waar heel in de verte tinten van kokos in te herkennen zijn.

Good, very drinkable for 11%, just the flavors have become flat over the last year. Would recommend drinking fresh. Excited to try the 2022 release!!

Decent, but not exactly my thing. Strong maraschino cherry flavor followed by bourbon sweetness. This would have been better if it was less boozy.

Would've liked more barrel and bitters kick.

Fruity nose, reddish brown hued. Smooth and sweet with bourbon, bitter orange and cherry flavors. A little oak and orange rind bitterness in the finish. Tasty, but not a beer I’d drink often.

I want to like this more. The concept is cool, the nose is wonderful but it tastes like nothing

Lot of stuff going on but still in balance. A little too sweet for me though

Doesn’t taste like an 11%. Not my flavor profile. Good match to description!

They did nail the flavor profile but the orange and spices were a bit much towards the end.

BD 6/9/22. candied orange zest flavor, little bourbon & oak, chocolate on the finish. Mod+ sweet taste, lighter bitter, mild warmth. med-bigger body, soft carb. v mildly medicinal, but overall a pleasant, unique one to sip on at the end of the day 487315

This is interesting, it starts with cherry & orange, malty base with notes of brown sugar, some alcohol, a little bourbon, I get an orange seltzer aroma. Not sure how to rate this. Thanks, Nate
