Lots of orange peel in the aroma followed by wood & mild bourbon. Medium roch mouthfeel. Taste of Cointreau, cinnamon, wood, mild cocoa, vanilla, red berry & bourbon. Warming & slightly boozy. Cocktail in the form of beer. Shady brewery that makes gr8beer

All flavors are very well integrated and balanced. Tastes like an old fashioned made with a sweet bourbon. Barrel character is supporting the flavors instead of dominating them.

Smell is interesting on this one, like a buttered roll. Flavor is a beer with a bourbon-butterscotch flavor that works. Not great, but pretty good.

[bottled 06-09-2022] Taste and smell slowly returning. No surprise bourbon notes would be one of the first to return.

Old Fashioned cocktail attempt in a 11% Imperial Brown Ale. Barrel aged w/aromatics of caramel and vanilla, dried fruit and spice while hints of cherry and bitter orange peel. Different, decent, not familiar with the cocktail. Bottled 7/6/21 🤤👍🏼🍻
