Bottle Shop Series Highball Drifter

Brown Ale - American

They don't make 'em like they used to... or do they? The bottle shop series is a tribute to the folks who supported ragtag brewer's across the country when craft beer was in its infancy. when beer enthusiasts sought out innovation through big flavor, in your face complexity and revered quality above all else. This series is for you: the distinguished beer connoisseur still seeking the revolution that energized the industry we know today -- that settles for nothing less then the very best!

Nice soft booze, vanilla, hint of dried fruit, and hit of orange.

Is this a beer or a mixed drink? Not sure if this is a repeater.

I try over and over to like bourbon barrel beers... 🤮 But I’m a team player and because I don’t want to skew the average based on my distaste for this one, my rating is totally based on everyone else.

I was skeptical of this, but it really works. Vanilla is subtle, some caramel, and a hint of orange peel. A bit of spice finish, but not overwhelming. The bourbon is a little noticeable. Well done.

オールドファッションドっていうカクテルをイメージして作られたビール。 ウイスキー感にレモンピールの味、確かにそれっぽい味がするかも。

Pleasantly surprised. I was expecting boozy but it’s quite smooth. Similar to a Backwoods

Barrel-aged and it warms you as it goes down. Caramel and brown sugar. Smooth and not boozy for 11%. Another great beer from Founders. TYJB!
