Bottle Shop Series Highball Drifter

Brown Ale - American

They don't make 'em like they used to... or do they? The bottle shop series is a tribute to the folks who supported ragtag brewer's across the country when craft beer was in its infancy. when beer enthusiasts sought out innovation through big flavor, in your face complexity and revered quality above all else. This series is for you: the distinguished beer connoisseur still seeking the revolution that energized the industry we know today -- that settles for nothing less then the very best!

Very nice tip of the hat to its namesake. Lots of booze, orange and cherry.

Orange peel and spices make for a nice brown ale, bourbon compliments nicely.

Whiskey taste, dark cherry notes, & bitter orange peel each readily apparent. A Manhattan in a beer bottle. Less depth of flavor than a couple competing offerings, but per usual for Founders it masks the alcohol to almost zero (at 11%ABV!). Easy drinking.

Balanced bourbon, dried figs, vanilla, cherries. Good.

Fruit marsepein kaneel heeeel complex. Zeker geen allemansvriend. Erg leuk iets anders. Voor de aparte smaak een 4 . NOW IN STORE. WORD VRIEND VOOR NEW BEEAlsjebierlieft N.

Bedankt Ian M.
