Was sharp at first, but settles into a nice sweet citrus-y bourbon

Cherry and orange first. Alcohol heavy. Sweet toffee. Woody notes. A bit spirity.

This Imperial/Double Brown Ale. Definitely a strong ale with a slight bourbon taste.

Wonderfully aromatic & well balanced BA brown with great palate heft; mouthcoating, lingering aftertaste & big orange/fruity/malty flavors with hints of cherry, vanilla & whisky in the finish. Smooth fooler of an 11%er that sneaks up on you.

Best when it’s cold. Gets a bitterness about it as it warms up. Lots of orange and cherry.

Good bourbon barrel, with a little sweet. This one doesn’t punch you in the face like some high proof bourbon barrels.

Very mysterious at first as my tounge searches for flavor. Then bam the mystery is solved. The lingering aftertaste is remarkable. Dellish

Lots of orange in the aroma. Hits the advertised flavor profile pretty well, kind of like an old fashioned

Boozy but has plenty of caramel, vanilla and orange. At this ABV, a 9 ouncer is enough!

Very good, but much better if you think of it as a bottled cocktail instead of a beer.
