Fatlagringen är tydlig. Ek & Bourbon i massor + röda bär. & Sherry. I grunden söt men med en syra på slutet. Mineral lättar upp.

A rather spiced Imperial Scotch/Brown Ale. Tasty and refined, also thanks to the passage through bourbon barrels. Rather Christmassy for its dried fruit and candied orange hints.

Whiskey, granbar, vanilje og bourbon. Ganske smooth. Massive mengder med brukte bourbon fat og vanilje. Sniker innpå med syltet appelsinskall, noe som er pretty nice feeling. Gjør det hele langt friskere enn bare tung bourbon.

I see what they were going for, but it leans too much on the cherry and is left tasting like a strong cherry porter instead of an old fashioned…

This is yummy. Barrel aged but not over powering at all. An old fashioned taste comes through for sure. I could drink this for days.

Solid entry! Notes of dried fruit and vanilla in the flavor profile. It’s also good in the ol’ sniffer! Cherry and orange peel. This beer is layered! Never had a highball drifter cocktail before, but I’d try one now!

Weirdly refreshing beer considering the massive ABV. Lovely nutty aromas with some toffee, malt and a dry finish.

Skall den inmundigas i highball-glas, yrandes runt helt planlöst? Passar i pandemin då 6 senaste resorna blivit inställda. Kickass käftsmäll med massa fatlagrad torkad frukt, vanilj och körsbär. Som att bli omkörd av en ångvält på motorvägen.
