Bottle Shop Series Highball Drifter

Brown Ale - American

They don't make 'em like they used to... or do they? The bottle shop series is a tribute to the folks who supported ragtag brewer's across the country when craft beer was in its infancy. when beer enthusiasts sought out innovation through big flavor, in your face complexity and revered quality above all else. This series is for you: the distinguished beer connoisseur still seeking the revolution that energized the industry we know today -- that settles for nothing less then the very best!

That’s good! Not sweet like I anticipated. Get a good bit of cherry. Very nice!

Oklart vad det här är. Klassad som en Brown ale men i beskrivningen så är det en bourbon drink. Smakar som en strong ale eller barleywine. Rätt spritig men maltig och torkad frukt. Fint som vanligt från Founders.

Not sure if the name is a reference to the Eastwood movie or the Beastie Boys song, either way 👍🏻

Suckered by a new label. Honestly, wasn’t feeling it as much this time around.

A Salminen

Makean pähkinäinen, vaniljainen ja jälkiruokamaisen toffeinen ale? Kivaa hedelmäisyyttä pellin alla yhdistettynä makeuden ja alkoholin balanssiin.

Get the barrel, but not sure if I would have figured this one out in a blind taste test. Several more to give it another go :)

Fruit aroma and with mild fruit taste but does not cross into being a gose, staying a beer. This does remind me somewhat of barley wine varieties had from other brewers. Good effort and different. Thanks for the try Brian!
