Vooral lekkere koffie. Doorschijnend bruin met een mooie schuimkraag. Koffie dus, chocolade, geroosterde mout, vanille, noten. Niet zo sterk de bourbon. Wat zoet, bescheiden bitter. Medium body. Weer een prima methode een Brown Ale leuk te maken. š

Has a nice toasty type beginning and sharp hard liquor finish. Back of the mouth you get the bourbon taste. Interesting, but a little heavier than I expected.

First sip. Wow. Sweet and red velvet like. But really the bourbon takes over after that and I like it. I like that it's an aged porter rather than just another stout. This one is kinda going right to the head I can tell. I need food.

Regretted not getting the KBS vanilla cinnamon cocoa, but an outstanding, full-bodied brown ale nonetheless

DTBB drank the coffee the crazy guy living in the tree gave him, and now he can taste colors and hear shapes. A sipper for sure, like a mocha latte made for real men who eat raw meat and shit thunder. Actually quite pleasant, smooth and creamy, enjoyable.
