This tastes exactly as described on the bottle. While I prefer stouts, this is a delicious beer.

Excellent. Not normally my type of beer but a great recommendation from the bartender. Full bodied and tasty

This is outstanding! Coffee, chocolate, barrel aged. It is not too sweet so vast quantities can be consumed.

I thought by the smell that this brew was going to be too sweet for my my taste. Imagine my surprise @ how smooth a drinker it was. Pronounced notes of coffee, vanilla & chocolate but not over the top. Really like this one. Thanks for sharing Kristi/Mike.

Complex brew coffee vanilla chocolate bourbon velvety creamy mouthfeel. A+ rating for a coffee barrel aged ale from founders my go to brewery for innovation. Happy I had a chance to get one. May go back for more!

Huge chocolate nose with some vanilla when poured. Silky. Bourbon comes out as it warms. Complex

Rich, deep, clear brown with a creamy head and the aroma of coffee. Tastes like lightly sweet coffee with a slight sourness at the back of the throat. As a coffee lover, this one hits the spot.

The perfect Sweet Tooth Tuesday brew with a robust and flavorful blend of coffee, chocolate, vanilla extract, and milk sugar! The 11.1% ABV is the icing on the cake; pun intended!

Feels like an imperial brown kinda night.. and this one delivers! Chocolate, coffee, vanilla and boozy sweet. Yowzer!

Brown chocolate bliss immediate after it hits the tongue. Bourbon woody flavor is soft and mellow. This needs to be on your shelf and enjoyed.

Brown ales usually don't do much for me but Founder's BA series are always good. I've tasted a beer like this before but can't think of which. Very roasty coffee flavor with a subtle vanilla and chocolate flavor.

Great mix of flavors that seem to hit one after another. It being a Brown ale makes it a lil lighter than some barrel aged stouts but the flavors stick out just as well. Cheers

Sweet Jesus, emphasis on the “sweet”. Founders is always crushing it.

SO SMOOTH. Great coffee nose & the vanilla REALLY calms that typical barrel aged bite. No way this drinks like 11%. Creamy & thick desert beer that is worth the calories.

So much going on here. Taste the body of the brown ale right away. Then coffee, chocolate, vanilla, and then finally the bourbon. 11.1% abv, and no boozy flavor. This is fantastic.

Velvet you say? I can see why. This is super creamy and smooth with a great blend of mocha latte flavors. Very good stuff.
