Enjoyed at Christmas... complex as hell. Vanilla, oak, coffee, and caramel. Pretty boozy, but I found it overly sweet. Too sweet for me.

I prefer underground mountain quite a bit more than this, but good on Founders for developing the brown ale style. Looks like root beer. Tastes like a coffee stout, with punishing roast bitterness and ashy texture. Should be more sweet, grainy, & creamy.

Ik snap de beschrijving niet. Er is een hele shitload aan zooi toegevoegd, waaronder blijkbaar water. Hoge verwachtingen, ruikt heerlijk, maar smaakt alsof er bij een goed biertje koolzuur en koude koffie is toegevoegd. Jammer ☹️

Nu school weer begonnen is, is het tijd om weer wat bier te drinken. Deze komt nog van de kerstkalender. Ik was hier een beetje bang voor, maar desalniettemin is hij lekker. Smaakt naar koffie en chocolade. Dankjewel Alicia, Jagoda, Ylva, Lieneke en Roy!
