Velvet Rush

Brown Ale - Imperial / Double

Borrowing elements from both high-end craft cocktails and moody jazz clubs, Velvet Rush takes the bourbon barrel-aged brown ale up an octave with free-flowing notes of coffee, chocolate and vanilla extract. Milk sugar aids in weaving together this complex tapestry of flavors to create a unique sipping experience that really ties the room together.

That is rich. Thick. Like drinking a mocha. Real strong chocolate and coffee.

Wow. BBA and chocolate and a smidge of coffee. It hides the 11% ABV well. This is a smooth beer. Go after it. Founders rocks!!

Wow. Boozy, creamy, sweet - sip on this one. The vanilla is really pronounced with added barrel aging. Don’t get much coffee but will sit on the rest and see if the flavors change at all.

I get bourbon and vanilla. Dont get coffee or chocolate. Not as heavy as a stout.

Wow, very complex imperial brown Ale. Vanilla, chocolate, coffee aged in bourbon barrels. Checks in at 11%

First taste I got sweetness for days and a very boozy finish. Finishes dry as well like a black coffee. Heavy mocha notes and tastes like a dessert. Very good beer. Would be awesome on tap.
