This one isn’t really for me. There’s a strong twang from the berries, but getting zero blueberry flavor. Boozy background. Drinkable, but no fun.

Looks like this a reissue beer from almost a decade ago. I liked it a lot back then. This new iteration is tasty, but not hitting like 2013. Very bourbon forward with the vanilla notes I come to expect from BBA wheat wines. Maple is kinda mixed up.

Snowbound Vanilla Porter Wilcox
Vanilla heavy porter with some roastiness. Fun brew for being snowbound. Per the Untappd notes, this beer is not available in North Carolina (????).

Dude, that’s yummy! Got a familiar & friendly barrel aged nose and flavor. I can’t remember having an Oktoberfest beer like this before.

Big Worse Red Wine Edition Wilcox
I’m not sure the age of this bottle, but I assume “old” based on some friends’ checkins. This is right for aging. Wine notes are low on the backend. Wood character is solid and this seems like a well-built barleywine. Another Hoos brew!

Nice stuff, as expected. Funky cheese with a hint of fruitiness. Very cool seeing this here.

Kentucky Breakfast Stout (KBS) (2020) Wilcox
Maybe my bauds are off, but this ain’t popping for me like olden days. I think this is the 1st time have the flagship KBS from the year round production batches. Not sure if that has anything to do with it. Still, it’s tasty.

Decadent, smooth, & crushable. This is so good with great hazelnut flavor. I had a feeling this would be a killer variant.

Definitely more enjoyable on draft than the recent bottle release. Hearty without being abrasive. Just glad I’m getting some flavor vibes.

Much disappointed with this Mas Agave seltzer offering — especially after having the quite tasty strawberry version a while back. This reminds me of a junky wine cooler.

Bought this on a whim, tonight, out of the singles cooler, but this surprisingly tasty. Now, I’m curious about the other Más Agave seltzers. Went great with dinner and kicking off the UVA/Miami 🏈 game. Go Hoos!

Cinnamon dominates with a good touch of cocoa. Vanilla & bourbon barrel seem muted. Good body.

Not bad for a big ole brown decorated up with pretty things. Seems to have a slightly fudgey flavor to me — I like it. Punk and Fake Dusty like this one too.

Mmmmmm. This is tasty & a bit too easy to drink for the abv. Tequila barrel aging did the Monk well. Cool find.
