On sniff and first sip, the coffee hits like mild jalapeno, kinda pushes any chocolate or barreling outta the profile. The barrel does show up late, and gets more prominent as we go. Decent, but not quite to expex, and following several *tough* acts.

Imperial brown ale, brown ales lig ik nu niet meteen wakker van maar Founders heeft me al wel vaker aangenaam verrast. Deze is zeker ok maar niet mijn ding. Veel koffie, cacao en vanille. Nogal zwaar en vrij zoet. Verdienstelijk

An Advent beer. A wheels of style night with an impy brown next. OMG this hits big and boozy, like a brandy soaked Christmas pudding. The barrel ageing effect is front, centre and in your face, seems much more than it’s 11%. Coffee, chocolate and vanilla

Som att dra i sig en bit mörk chocklad och en kopp starkt kaffe!😎 Gillar inte direkt något av dessa två men tillsammans så smakade det riktigt bra!

Weak body, bit of nut, tastes thin. Hard to believe this is 11%. If it is, it's hiding it well. We double checked with server. Doesn't seem to fit profile. Underwhelmed.
