What an amazing beer absolutely at this point one of my favorites. I just love the fact that it’s an imperial brown with coffee chocolate and vanilla.

Anything in the Founder bourbon barrel series is good, but this is on the lower end of that goodness. A little heavy on the coffee flavor. Definitely velvet but not so much rush.

Licht zoetje, romig, veel chocolade (op een fijne manier), koffie en een beetje vanille. Barrelen zijn ze vergeten volgens mij.. bourbon niet waarneembaar. Ook iets aan de dunne kant.

Al naso legno, bourbon, cacao, frutta matura come prugna e caffé. In bocca amara. Il caffé sovrasta tutto ma si possono sentire il cacao e dell'erbaceo soprattutto sul finale. Finale amaro di caffé e erbaceo Con sensazioni di legno.Vellutata e astringente

Creamy, velvety, chocolate and coffee. A bit thin body, but maybe it comes with the style.

Some dryness from the casks followed by creamy nutty aromas of coffee beans and chocolate ending with a vanilla touch.
