Is it good? Absolutely delicious!!! Is it interesting? Nah’! Typical Founders flavor profile for BA beers. Typical coffee notes and bourbon character. Different label. If you like that, like myself, you’ll dig this. Just don’t expect surprises.

This is REALLY nice -- a fair bit of coffee flavour to it, but with a dating sweet finish. YUMMMMM.

Advent #18 Ik moet hier gedeeltelijk Sander M. Zijn mening in volgen. Vooral dat ik er meer van had verwacht, ondanks het mij qua genre eerst hard aansprak. Chocolade overheerst tegenover de rest, spijtig wel. Kon veel meer geweest zijn.

Advent #18 well if you can't tell what this has been aged in just by smelling it then you must be dead! Smooth, lovely chocolate on the tongue, not at all boozy and far too easy to drink for the abv. Cracking stuff.

I've got my spine I've got my Velvet rush and it's coming in fast over me cos damn she's a mouthful of joy. Tastes like the kahlua based cocktails I was drinking aged 18 cos they were sweet and didnt taste of booze. Sweet, chocolate, coffee joy this is.

#beerychristmas #18. Chocolate and bourbon. Creamy while not so thick bodied with a roasty aroma, brown sugar, hazelnut, coffee. Nice boozy finish.

Beery Christmas, day #18. #598 USA. Dark ruby/opaque brown colour with a lacing tan head. Aroma: rich dark chocolate, cinnamon and roasted malts. Taste: espresso, rich creamy dark chocolate and toasted cinnamon. Smooth.

BEER HAWK BEERY XMAS - Day 19 : Got my days mixed up. There’s a reason this 12% stout was supposed to be drunk yesterday. Luckily I’ve tomorrow off for my booster jab. Deep dark chocolate flavours with a hint of vanilla and maybe liquorice?
