Cherry flavored Red Ale. It’s barrel-aged and not too tart. 6% ABV. Going down to the Smiling Moose for Reverend Raven soon!

Heavy oak flavor. Thinner bodied than I remember. Good, not spectacular.

Better than I expected, a little sweet but goes nice with the light cherry flavor!

I don't want to be too harsh, because this is very drinkable, but it is just not my taste. It tastes too much like you are drinking cherry liqueur as opposed to drinking an ale.

Strong sweet boozy taste. Cheery fruity forward with a lingering sweetness. Very good stuff

One of the most interesting beers I’ve had lately. Plenty of oak plus cherry. It is like a port. Definitely a sipping beer.

Proposta e cerveja bem interessante, aroma amadeirado e álcool do bourbon, no gosto cerejas envelhecidas no barril e maple sutil no primeiro momento, quando esquenta aparece bastante. Perde pontos apenas pela doçura um pouco excessiva. Ótima experiência

Checked this in previously under a different vintage. This is the same vintage. Hit me totally differently this time. Not nearly as impressed. Too sweet and cherry too prominent.

Apparently I’ve had this before. Founders knows how to make barrel aged beer, without a doubt

Slight cherry finish, there is a hint off the barrel in there, but it’s far from overwhelming…This is an interesting beer, glad I tried it, would like to try on draft or nitro, not sure I would get more in bottles… the ABV is only 8%, not sure I would age

Sweet and fascinating this fruity and refreshing sip has tart notes but a smoothness that accompanies barrel-aging. Does not seem 8%. Would be dangerous as it is crushable on a hot summer day
