Joulupöytään arvostettu barreli kypsennetty Bourbon Stout. Vanilja maistuu vahvasti ja bourbonin maku tulee lopussa vahvasti esiin. Kookos tosin ei juuri maistu. Aromit kuitenkin mukavasti tasapainossa. Huippu tuote!

A strong barrel aged stout with a roasted malt mouth appeal that includes cocoa, cinnamon and vanilla. While there is a lot of sweetness going, it’s balanced with the bitterness of the dark roastiness. Heavy mouthfeel. At 12.2. %, be a mindful sipper.

Just over 2yrs in the back of the fridge, has mellowed well. As i recall it was not a fave at release. It has aged well. Pretty sure the coco taste is the coffee, thankfully the vanilla has diminished

Last one for the style quest with this 2021 bottle. Tasting decent considering I don't like aged KBS much. Drier cocoa, coffee, and wood, with a generous helping of cinnamon on top. Maybe the slightest hint of green pepper

Goede stout, de toevoeging van vanille en cacao zorgen ervoor dat die beter smaakt dan de "kale" standaard versie. Beetje bitter en de Bourbon is beter te proeven, de cacao blijft een beetje hangen bij de afdronk.

Отличная ароматика ванили, корицы и всего что даёт стандартный кбс, во вкусе же есть определённый провал: некоторая водянистость, не хватает кофейно-бурбоновой базы. Чуть завышаю исходя из возраста пива - видимо этот сорт должен быть максимально свежим
