I get heavy cinnamon up front and dark cocoa on the back. Lots of cocoa on the nose. Reminds me of Epic stouts.

8.26.21 Sweet but not too sweet, and not hot for a (12%) barrel aged beer. Subtle cinnamon upfront, smooth light vanilla finish. ...and now I'm half drunk, bonus 🤣

Chocolate, coffee and cinammon with a touch of vanilla. Milder flavor from the barrel but still gives a bit of a taste. Not crazy boozy for 12%

Interesting. Good, not crazy boozy but bourbon is there. Flavors come thru well. Not as good as some of the other KBS

As I was leaving work today, the Founders truck drove right in front of me. I took it as a sign. This KBS version has a slight sweetness to it from the vanilla. The oakey bourbon notes dominate though. Not getting any cinnamon. Thanks Ryan for saving one!

The flavors weren’t as blended as I would have liked but was a very well made beer; vanilla was more notice in aroma, but the flavor was held together by dark chocolate, subtle sweetness

Nice beer. Get lots of cocoa and coffee, some cinnamon, and a hint of vanilla. It all overpowers the barrel though. Still a good beer.
