Enjoying the start of my 3-day weekend with my first taste of yet another delicious KBS variant. Vanilla, cinnamon, bourbon, cocoa, chocolate … what’s not to like?! 🍻

Not as sweet as I thought it might be. Jill even took a 2nd sip!

Not my favorite variant but still solid. Get a ton of cinnamon up front with vanilla aftertaste. Drinks smooth.

Good but godddamn, dial back on the cinnamon a bit!

I can't decide if it's better than current rating or not. Heavy on the cinnamon.

Too much cinnamon and not much else. Tastes like a Christmas beer

Mexican hot chocolate stout with out the chilies. Could be a little heavier in body. Still delicious!

Very similar to the original. Had this right after the original. Very minimal cinnamon and vanilla notes, maybe a hint of cocoa. Not really a noticeable difference if you didn't know any better.

First official stout of the season. It is good. Dark malty start with cinnamon with a not to sweet vanilla finish. Really great. Not as sweet as the original KBS. Shocker that it is 12%

LCI. Maybe Founders should just retire KBS for a few years and bring it back only every so often… just like the McRib. That way people will hopefully forget just how mediocre this beer is in between release schedules.

Smells like a baked dessert, tastes like a slightly sweet liqueur. Solid, but not my favorite KBS offshoot.

It’s like Cocoa Loco, but barrel aged and with more flavors. Still prefer that over this, but if this one sticks around, it might be a decent replacement.

Cinnamon is strong but not overpowering. Nice cocoa finish, the flavor reminds me of the old Hershey’s powdered cocoa in the tin.
