Pours pitch black with two fingers mocha colored head, minimal retention, some lacing. Aromas of cinnamon, cocoa, coffee, and vanilla. Flavors of cocoa, and cinnamon intially, coffee, and vanilla in the middle, bourbon and earthy oak on the finish.

Strong finish. Nice cocoa chocolate aroma and when you taste it, you get that nice deep cocoa flavor. Nice finishing taste with a hint of vanilla, cinnamon. Finishing strong taste of cocoa and coffee.

Awesome delicious cinnamon with warm vanilla & bittersweet bakers chocolate note. Smooth & sweet with a roasted espresso finish

Tasty as usual. The cinnamon is present but not too aggressive. Idk it seems like the beer tastes cheaper each year. Less chocolates or something, idk. But what does my opinion matter, we’re all just doomed to die. I need a hug. Actually don’t touch me.

A very solid variant. As good as the original. The cinnamon is a bit stronger than the vanilla.

I’m a bit of a purist, so I wasn’t too stoked about this variant, but it definitely gets the job done. More cinnamon in the nose than the palate, but it’s still there. Vanilla is a role player. Like a churro dipped in cold brew.

A nice find! All of the featured flavors meld extremely well without one overpowering the other, and the full-bodied bourbon backbone is not a boozy burn, though the punch gets packed. Unexpected but at the same time Founders maintains its rep.

I figured I would try this and while it’s not great, it is very good. They did a good job in not overwhelming with the cinnamon and therefore it does taste very much like a coffee with some vanilla and cinnamon. It’s pretty good.

I’ve been a bigger fan of the variants then regular KBS, but this isn’t as good as Mackinaw or Espresso. Definitely reminds me of one of the Epic Baptist stouts. Cinnamon, vanilla for sure. Coffee & Chocolate not really. Barrel, HA what barrel?

Cinnamon comes through at the end. The smell is all cocoa and the first taste is all vanilla. I like it, but I don't love it. Maybe it'll taste different as it warms up

Reminds me of the cheap cinnamon flavored waffles slathered with Log Cabin syrup you get with your "free" breakfast at Motel 6. Just a tad too fake tasting for me.

See previous reviews of various vintages&variants.This iteration has a bigly triple hit of cinnamon,cocoa&vanilla as advertised plus a wallop of javaliciousness.Smooth&every bit as POWerful as it's 12%, but any bourbon is overwhelmed by the other flavors.
