Dry unsweet cocoa. Raw vanilla bean. The only sweetness coming from the boozy barrels. Nice and consistent for a barrel aged stout, not the best kbs varient, but on the same level of most BCs without the big price tag.

it’s pretty good but a bit over priced for what it is, the aroma is mild as is the flavor, i’m assuming it’s their play on mexican hot chocolate but i expected better

Strong Imperial Stout (12%er), sweet flavor with hints of cinnamon, vanilla, and cocoa aged in Bourbon barrels.

A wide variety of flavors going on here! Cinnamon hits first, followed by coffee and then cocoa with just a hint of vanilla in the end. Oak aging blends these flavors without being overly boozy at all. This is good!

Strong bourbon flavor (as always) but the cinnamon and vanilla sit perfectly on top of it. The chocolate is a running theme throughout. Delicious.
