Wow! Probably the most chocolatey beer I’ve had to date. But they still manage to keep it reasonably subtle. I also get a bit of the cinnamon and vanilla. Absolutely delicious! Doesn’t taste boozy at all.

Cinnamon on the nose. Smooth mouthfeel. Cinnamon and a hint of vanilla throughout the palate. Coffee finish, as it should be. Well done Founders, and thank you for the KBS gifts year-round.

This one’s a little hot. The barrel-aging predominates the flavors. I expect other flavors to come out more as it mellows. Good now but may be better in a few months. Bottled 8.26.21. WE ARE…🏈

Absolutely brilliant stout. Drinks well below 12%. No idea how this contains no coconut. I swear it’s a coconut stout.

Cinnamon rules the roost here and the coffee roastiness kicks in shortly after. Didn’t get much vanilla and with it not being a pastry stout, that’s OK.

KBS didn’t do itself that much proud with this iteration. Lots of cinnamon, though, of course, it is delicious!

Not a fan. 90% cinnamon, 10% cocoa and 0% vanilla. No sweetness to combat this cinnamon bomb. Not a drain pour but towing the line.
