Mooie vanille cacao kaneel stout!

Just alright - the original beats all these flavored ones by far. Sometimes, when dark beers are flavored with cinnamon, I find them to have a dusty flavor and that includes this one.

12oz bottle. 2021 vintage that I just bought off the shelf last week. Seemed to have more body than the last time I tried it, but tasted similar. I wanted more vanilla, less cinnamon and more bourbon.

Donker opaak met fijn beige schuim. Kaneel, chocolade, koffie en vanille in de neus. Fluweel mondgevoel. Dikke zoete aanzet. Koffie met chocolade in de body. Wat kaneel-scherpte komt er overheen. In de afdronk een chocobitter met zoete vanille. Mooi, maar

Too sweet, thin. Nowhere near as good as I remembered KBS, although still a decent BA stout.

Rich, dark, bourbony, spiced, with a hint of vanilla astringence. Not as desserty as I might have thought from the label. The only beer I've had with vanilla that wasn't chemically.

Smooth and creamy stout like all of their KBS beers. The cinnamon and vanilla are a nice touch, hope to find this one in the winter too.

Aged this bottle for about 2 years, not sure it mellowed much but still good. Lots of cinnamon on the nose, strong oakiness, finish with vanilla. A bit boozy. Overall very good for sipping on a rainy night near Acadia for our anniversary.

Bitter, bourbon, sweet. A bit hard mouthfeel but delicious

Vanilla or coconut on the nose. Delicious roasty inn the mouth, with a slightly spicy finish

OK. Was expecting a fantastic upgrade from the base KBS beer, it's not. Can taste the cinnamon and add'l chocolate taste, but it was OK. Somehow it seemed more boozy than the regular KBS, or at least this keg did.
